On the afternoon of October 11th, a donation ceremony was held at the Qingpu District Red Cross Society, where Shanghai Cooltech Power Co., Ltd. lovingly donated power generation equipment to the DaYang Nursing Home of Xianghuaqiao Street in Qingpu District. Mr. Ren Jianrong, Party Secretary and Executive Vice President of the Qingpu District Red Cross Society, Mr. Zhou Lulai, President of Cooltech Power, and Ms. Tang Yongqin, Director of the nursing home, attended the ceremony.
At the ceremony, Mr. Ren Jianrong introduced the disaster relief and assistance work carried out by the Qingpu District Red Cross Society. He expressed respect and gratitude for the company's years of compassionate actions in fulfilling its corporate social responsibility. Throughout its development, Shanghai Cooltech Power Co., Ltd. has always remembered to practice social responsibility, repeatedly making generous donations in times of national difficulty to give back to society. Following major natural disasters such as the 2008 Southern China snowstorms and the Wenchuan earthquake, and the 2010 Yushu earthquake in Qinghai, the company, as a leading enterprise in the backup power industry, took the lead in donating to support disaster areas and convey care. After the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak in 2020, the company proactively contacted the Shanghai Charity Foundation as soon as possible, making a targeted donation of 500,000 RMB to Wuhan to purchase prevention supplies for frontline medical workers. The company also dispatched technical support to Hubei to ensure power supply for temporary hospitals and makeshift hospitals.
This time, upon learning that the DaYang Nursing Home urgently needed backup power generation equipment, the company decided to donate a set of silent diesel generator units valued at approximately 200,000 RMB to the nursing home. Cooltech Power will also manage the subsequent transportation, installation, and commissioning, helping to resolve the urgent need for the elderly residents. Currently, the donated generator has been installed and is in place.
The path of public welfare knows no end. In the future, while growing and strengthening its business, the company will continue to bring light and warmth to groups in need.
